Cookies & Browser Storage

1. The short version
Seedates uses only the cookies and browser storage it needs to sign you in, keep your account secure and remember your display preferences. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party tracking cookies and no analytics cookies on this site.
Because everything we set is strictly necessary for the Service you asked for, there is no cookie consent banner. You can still clear or block them from your browser, as described in section 5.
2. Cookies we set

On a public (https) host these cookies are also marked Secure, so your browser will only send them over an encrypted connection.
3. Browser storage (localStorage)
This is not a cookie — it lives in your browser only and is never sent to our servers automatically. It is used to avoid re-fetching things you already have and to remember your display choices:

4. Third parties
We do not embed third-party advertising or analytics scripts, so no third party sets cookies through our pages. When you pay, you are briefly on the payment provider's own site (Stripe or PayPal) under its own cookie and privacy policy, and when you type a birth place, the place text is sent to our reverse-geocoding provider (OpenStreetMap Nominatim) — that request carries no cookies from your browser. 5. How to control them
- Sign out — this deletes your access and active-account cookies; your saved accounts stay until you remove them.
- Remove a saved account — deletes that account's saved session from this browser.
- Browser settings — every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data. Blocking the ones above will sign you out and stop saved accounts from working, but the public pages will still load.
- Delete your account — from your settings; see the Privacy Policy.
6. Changes
If we add a cookie or storage key with a new purpose, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
